X4 setting toolpath too stop for insert change.

For the 2D & 3D Highspeed tool paths there is an option you can turn on based on time or distance.

 

The X4 posts have this sketched in and it needs to be completed for the ends users needs.

 

If the post is pre X4 there is nothing in there to do and all logic would need to be added.

I haven't used this function in some time but, if I recall correctly, when you select this feature the post will output a rapid retract at the programmed time or distance. You will have to manually add an M01 Optional Stop at each of your desired tool lifts.

Yup the X4 posts simply have an M00 sketched in, we have to customize the post based on user request on what to do, go home, move to a certain position and the sort, then make sure all of the info to restart the tool properly is in place.
