Slow opening parameters and tools

When I click on the parameters for an operation or click select tool in the parameters it is extremely slow. Anything that I can do to help this. Forgot to grab the computer specifications but it is a Dell with a dual core processor, 2 gigs of memory and an Nvidia graphics card with 512mb. X5 mill level :( 1.

Thanks

At this point, no not really. If you're one of the people that experiences this, it is spotty, there is something in the works that "should" be addressed for MU1.

and before anyone asks, no I don't have a time frame for it. ;)

We have a similar system to yours running X4 MU3 and experience this too. I really only notice the parameters dialog opening slow when the toolpath is bound to a complex solid. If it's just simple geometry or even a simple solid, then I don't notice it. If I can create surfaces from the complex solid and lay toolpaths to those surfaces that seems to help and the dialog opens faster. Even clicking on a toolpaths collapse\expand button you have to wait when the toolpath is associated with a complex solid.
