NC editor with shift capabilities???

I'm in need of an editor that will perform incremental shifts to NC progs. MCEDIT's NCUtils, Shift function works, but I find that the editor itself is a bit quirky. Any suggestions?

Predator or some other 3rd Party Application.

XYZPro works pretty well for that. You can also rotate nc-code with it. I believe it comes from Ascendant technologies the people that make ExtremeDNC.

There is an editor inside of Mastercam (mcedit) that does this.

 

Main menu-file-edit-editor- select mcedit.

 

Scale/shift/abs to inc are all under nc utils.

Cimco Integration's CimcoEdit Pro will Rotate, Mirror, and Translate NC code as well as perform some simple math functions along with other useful NC functions. This editor can be upgraded from the OEM version found in Mcam. Click on the link at the bottom of this page if you want some more info. HTH

I just wanted to clarify Peter's message. We do scale, mirror, and rotate nc programs. However, do don't currently have a shift function. Didn't want you to download with the misunderstanding that the function was available in CIMCO Edit.

 

Side note: It, along with hundreds of other feature requests and enhancements are on the very long development list.

Easytalk has a shift and scale function, I don't use this editor on a daily basis, but we use it for file transfer in the shop. It's a very common editor over here,
