Try using G141 when you've got G18 or G19 active.

G141 didn’t error out in graphic mode. Now I just need to do a real test cut to see if this works.. unfortunately they are setting up another job on this machine so I wont be able to test for a while, but I will post back here with results for future reference.

Thanks a bunch !!

From what I have found so far..

Apparently to use G141 correctly you need an I,J,K vector at every X,Y,Z. The I, J, and K specify the normal direction relative to the center of the tool to the contact point of the tool in

the CAM system. It can only be used for G00 and G01 moves.

I am Threadmilling with a right angle head and this will not work unless I break the arcs up into tiny segments and modify my post to output I,J,K vectors along with each X,Y,Z.

Next questiion, How do I modify post to get IJK vectors ???

Anyone here have experience with this?? Hopefully I am going down the right path..

Maybe I am opening up a can of worms here and it might just be easier to repost the toolpath with each offset change, but this sure is fun research.. lol!!
