Everytime i open a parasolid in X5 the Surface color attributes change to a single color. i need the models as they were ceated. we do alot of engineering changes and the changes are shaded different colors than the unchanged areas. How do you keep the surface color attributes from changing when importing model? TIA

I know we dont need solids to bring in a parasolid. i just need the surface colors to remain the same. the color of the surfaces are coming in as the color of the system color. thx hardmill for all your help. i have never had this much aggravation with the color attributes as i have had with X5.

Thx Hardmill and Cuda... i was confused on all of that. I have never done any solid stuff. So why is it that X5 is the only X version that messes with the color atributes when bringing in a parasolid as surfaces and wireframe?
