Import Unigraphics files

Is there a way to import Unigraphics drawing files(2d prints) into Mastercam or Solidworks?

Solidworks will import the native Unigraphics solid file with no problems but I can't get the 2d print to come in.

No this is not possible. You will need to export the Drawing as a CGM/DXF/IGES

If you want to send the file over I can try it in Unigraphics NX 7.5 for you.

I would like to send it over but it is against company policy.

I will try again to get our designers to give me dxf files and see if they will import.

Dxf will work fine and if you want a solid get them to save it as X_T or .Step/.stp.
