Here goes. Have a stupid question.

Was loading v9 wire for my old boss at my house, and when I went to open v9, it said hasp not found.

I loaded the software without the hasp installed. Could that the problem or something I'm forgetting?

What OS is running on your bosses computer?

 

If its Win 7, you are out of luck. V9 won't run on Win 7

 

If you boss's computer is XP there are a couple of things to try

first, double click

 

C:\Mcam9\nhasp9.exe

 

and make sure its set to HASP, Local

if that doesn't help, uninstall V9

shut off the anti virus software and reinstall

Many AV softwares kill the V9 hasp drivers during install and don't even ask you

about it before they do it.

Go to the Mastercam website and download the last set of hasp drivers for V9 when SP3 came out it caused issues so you need a updated driver.
