    When using move to origin in 2019, the entities do not hi-light to show what is selected as in 2018. Is there a switch that activates the hi-light?

    on the thumb drive, there is a tutorial folder with multiple tutorials. in those folders, there are sample files. HTH

    Thx Todd for the feedback. I went to Staples and bought their brand adapter and it didn't work. So I went to Radio Shack to give them a try and their's worked great.

    I am having a problem setting up the default machines in the config. having this problem on both machines that I am setting up with Mcam6. So I figure it is me doing something wrong. I have followed J Paris' .pdf tip sheet, I think. I have attached screenshot. Mill Default set-up.bmp

    Was loading v9 wire for my old boss at my house, and when I went to open v9, it said hasp not found. I loaded the software without the hasp installed. Could that the problem or something I'm forgetting? TIA

    After reading gcode's reply I realized I misread your problem. I use stimulate tool option.

    Rick, You need to set up stock size thru Toolpath manager properties. HTH

    Thanx that did it. I searched for toolpath operations, tool manager, but not feeds and speeds.

    I created a surface hi speed rough toolpath. Selected my tool and set all my parameters. Right clicked toolpath, dragged and copied after previous toolpath. Now i edited the copied toolpath, changed to a finish op and selected another tool from manager. Here lies the problem, the tool did not input speeds and feeds of the selected tool. It kept previous tool settings. This works fine in X4. Is there a setting I'm missing? I'm finding it only happens when u copy toolpaths. When creating new toolpaths, this does not happen.

    I imported a .sldprt file into MX5. The shaded model is color 15. When I unshade the model, is color 171. Cannot import into MX4 to check there. Is there a setting I'm missing in config file?

    What was the fix if you don't mind me asking? I run the same machine and it posted just like you have posted.

    Already set to that. I did find that file types is defaulted to "All Mastercam X Files (*.MCX*)" If I change it to "All Mastercam X Files (*.MCX-5, *.MCX, *.MC9, *.MC8)" it works. Is there a way to make this the default?

    Anyone run into this? In X4 I could click on file-open icon and dialog box would open and then click on arrow for drop down box to see last 10 files I worked on. This is not working for me in X5. The recent folders works fine. TIA
