Verify is slower

Verify is quite a bit slower it seems in X5 MU1. Anyone else having trouble?

 

I am running mostly on an i5 ASUS laptop with a GeForce 310M card. I just downloaded the latest driver from Nvidia but it's no better.

First time running X5MU1 and noticed that the verify is slower than X4

Judging from the response, I'm guessing MU1 is not the problem. Maybe I'm just holding the mouse wrong! I had a significant verify slowdown that I was hoping someone could help me zero in on. One more try......

you dont have a ton of points in the toolpath? that will bog it down

Are you a South Paw?

 

One way you can speed up the Verify, is changing the Display Control, Moves/Step & Moves/Refresh if you bump that number up the verify will move a bit quicker.

Nice work, Sherlock! Thanks but I am well aware of the moves/step and moves refresh feature. I also am aware that you can set it to Turbo, but then you can't see the tool.

 

No, I do not have a ton of points. I always use the arc filter.

Can't say as I've noticed a difference in the speed of the Verify

I get the knucklehead of the week award. My laptop has switchable graphics, and for some reason it was using onboard graphics.

I have no idea why it would change, maybe one of the tech masters here could help me acquire a clue!
