V9.1 patches

Am I the only one who is getting the Mill-Sets.exe and Set-Fix.exe patches to create extra seemingly useless folders in the Posts directory? Along with extracting the necessary files that they claim, they also creat new Apps, Chooks, Common, Lathe, Mill, and Router folders (complete with subfolders) in the C:mcam91millposts folder. There is nothing in these newly created folders except the updated files that are supposed to be there. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong. confused.gif

I even tried extracting them to a dummy folder and it still created those other folders.

Did you try to install it into your main MC directory?

Instead of installing it to C:/Mcam91/Mill/Posts, just install it to C:/Mcam91. It's looking for the rest of the folders in your main directory, and when it can't find them, it makes them. Install to your main directory and this should fix it.

It's the way chose to distribute the patches - we make the full Add-ons file first - meant to be extracted to C:Mcam9 (and the subdirectories and file structure works itself out from there). We delete files in the zip to prune them down to match Mastercam/CNC Software's patches. For whatever reason, when a zip file with a directory structure has files deleted, it still holds on to all directories, even if no files remain for that target directory. Our patches are still meant to be extracted to your Mastercam root, so the extra directories won't be an issue.
