x5 stupid pocket problem

I am just doing a stupid pocket program, and when i change my stock to leave on floors to 0.0. it shuts my mastercam down and gives me the warning of un supported occurence mastercam halted window and shuts down. what the heck. Does anyone else ever get this. I dont know what the deal is.

Thats why I never use the "stupid pocket" option.

 

Whats your PC config look like ??

Is it just one file or any you try to work with ??

LOL THATS FUNNY. AND UMM.... I DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT MY CONFIG FILE LOOKS LIKE. I HAVE NEVER REALLY HAD TO MESS WITH IT. IT HAS JUST ALWAYS WORKED. I AM KINDA SIMPLE WHEN IT COMES TO MESSING WITH THAT STUFF. I ALSO HAVE A CONSTANT ISSUE OF MY GEOMETRY NOT ALWAYS HIGHLIGHTING. SOMETIMES IT DOES SOMETIMES IT DONT. SO YOU KINDA GUESS WHETHER YOU HAVE ACTUALLY CHAINED A LINE OR PICKED A HOLE UNTIL YOU GENERATE THE PATH. I AM USING XP 64 BIT. AND I JUST GOT 2 MONITORS HOOKED UP AND A NEW GRAPHICS CARD SO IM THINKING MAYBE THE GRAPHICS CARD MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THAT. BECAUSE I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BEFORE. BUT THE POCKET THING I HAVE NO IDEA. ANY SUGGESTIONS OF WHAT SETTINGS TO GO LOOK AT. I JUST RECENTLY STARTED USING X5 BECAUSE WHEN WE FIRST LOADED IT. WE HAD ALL KINDS OF ISSUES. THEN WE LOADED THE NEW MU1 AND HOPED THAT WOULD FIX THEM, BUT IM FINDING ALL TYPES OF ISSUES THAT ARE BUGGING THE xxxx OUT OF ME. I REALLY HATE THE FACT THAT YOU CANT CHANGE THE COLOR OF A PARASOLID WHEN YOU FIRST BRING IT IN UNLESS YOU GO TO SOLIDS CLEAR FACES FIRST. BUT I CAN GET OVER THAT. ANYWAY. JUST LOOKING FOR SOME INSITE AS TO ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO BE MADE TO GET THIS X5 TO WORK SMOOTHER.

First off, no need to YELL.

Secondly, he ment what kind of hardware do you have, not your mcam config file...

 

My questions,

What kind of graphics card do you have?

Did you move any files around while installing X5 or MU1? or did you just do a normal (let mcam put whatever it wants wherever it wants) install?

Can you post a file that keeps crashing on you?

Did you search the forum for answers to the problem? I know graphics issues have been covered a million times.

Not sayin your guaranteed to find your answer by searchin, but its always a good idea to eliminate possible causes that others have found.

I have a nvidia quadro 1700 graphics card. I just let it instal things wherever it wanted to. I will see what i can do as far as posting a file with the problem.
