Mori Seiki SL-300 parameter

Recommended Posts

Looking for a parameter to change the lube timer on this machine.

Going through at least 1 full tank of oil per day.

I have all the books (I think) but didn't see anything except for in the ladder diagram which I can't figure out how to read it correctly.

Can anyone out there help me?

Tanks.

I moved this to the machining forum.. maybe you'll get some hits here..

on the subject of your post...

you can manually adjust the volume the some pumps output

you do it by adjusting the stroke length of the pump..

maybe you can solve your problem by adjusting the volume output instead

of the frequency of the pump cycle..

You need to check your manual for minimum lube QTY and and interval, do not go below factory recommended specs even if they seem high to you. Its better to use more then less lube.

Frequency of the pump cycle is what I'm trying to find out how to change.

The pump is the solenoid style and not the spring type where I can adjust the stroke length.

I've scoured through all of the Mori books that we have and for the life of me I can't find this stupid parameter!

This wouldn't be in a Fanuc book would it? I guess I can look in there, but I figured it was a Mori parameter.

I see it in the ladder diagram book, TM7 I think it is, but I can't read those damn things.
