tool numbers

hello everyone

 

i'm wondering if anyone has come across this. in 9.1 if i pick a tool from my tool library let's say tool no.8. now in my contour parameters it will be a diffrent tool no. i did my first job in 9.1 today and noticed this. just wondering. won't be able to get back today have no work so i'm going home. bummer. again i thank you.time to go catch some bass

Does it automatically rename your first tool to T1, the second to T2, etc.?

The problem my be in your job setup. You can open it up and check in the Toolpath Configuration box for. "Assign tool numbers sequentially" Make sure that it is not checked.
