Send lathe tools home at end of ops

Hoping I just missed the boat with this one. I use "user defined" for all of my lathe tools home positions. They all start at the "home position" but to get them to go back there at the end of the op, I am using the retract option inside the Ref points.

Is there a way to have Mcam automatically send the tool home at the end of the operation?

TIA.

I use that for all ops, Mcam shows the tool going home in backplot, but it isn't in the posted code unless I use a retract ref. point.

That should sent you back with all the proper codes.

Perhaps your post has it removed.

Maybe not, ill have to check that out.

Im working on some lathe toolpath right now too. we'll give it a shot

Excuse my interuption. We are actually dealing with indexing positions on our mori nl as we speak. It has the mapps 4 control on it. We normally just use G55 workoffset for indexing position in z. But I see you use a variable. Where would we find this variable and do you just put the machine coordinate in there?

Thanks, Steve

#500 is a user variable. I persomally cant tell you button by button way to get to them.

We always use G54 for main and G55 for sub
