Microsoft Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Fix

I gave up using the Microsoft 6000 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse a long time ago due to scrolling issues. I absolutely love both the Keyboard and Mouse but when scrolling with the Mouse wheel it would only zoom out. The fix was to set it as a old 2 button Mouse....

 

I just bought a new one (V3.0) and in the Mouse Properties/Wheel/Vertical Scrolling there's a link that says "Identify programs that don't scroll correctly". If you click this link, then select "MasterCam X5" it will now turn off "Smooth Scrolling" and will zoom in and out like it should!

 

Maybe CNC can fix this issue so we can use "Smooth Scrolling" but for now this works!!!

Thanks for the info. I was disappointed that the Microsoft mouse didn't play well with X5. I'll try this later. Hopefully it will fix the problem!

thanks for the tip! i've been through 3 already thinking i had a faulty mouse! i also can't spin my part anymore by clicking my wheel button? have an odl mouse that will but the new ones not so much? i can zoom in now but only if i scoll super fast?
