CNC CMM programming software recommendation

All our parts have to be inspected off the model (catia v4 mostly). Prints only have few dimensions on them if any so we must go by model and specs (all aerospace).

 

What software do you use and what would you recommend?

Currently we use CMM Manager which I think is pretty archaic.

 

I'm not an inspector but I hate to see our guys struggle while doing their jobs so I'm doing a little research on their behalf.

 

We did have a Verisurf demo and were very impressed, but it will not do cnc cmm programming so it's out.

 

All opinions welcomed, biased or not

We have the latest version of cmm manager and I like it a lot. No experience with PCDIMIS though. What version are you using?

We have the latest version as well. I see the guys struggling with it. It seems so archaic, in a "bob-cad" sort of way...

It doesn't even have an "undo" button

Some suggestions:

 

Delcam Power Inspect

Zeiss Calypso (Expensive but probably the best out there)

Unigraphics NX - They offer the whole deal CAD/CAM/CAE and CAV (CMM)

 

PCDIMIS - We have it - Good - But not as good as the ones above.

We just installed CappsNC on 2 4 axis horazontals and 2 5 axis Integrexe machines. Verey immpressed so far. all offline programmed

PCDMIS here, but I can't compare it because I've never used any other
