Synch Left and Right Rams on VTL

Hi,

 

I have made many post modifications over the years, but I'm not sure if I'm up to the task of what I want to attempt, so I thought I'd ask for a few opinion's here first.

 

I have a VTL with a left and right ram with a Siemens controller that is capable of synching both ram's, effectively machining with both rams at one time.

 

How difficult would it be for me to change a post to handle this?

 

Or, should I just contact my re-seller, or In-House to do it for me?

I would love some help on this subject also... we have a couple (our larger) VTL's with 2 rams (just got the new(used) 84" makin chips for the first time today).... The guy who programs them now hates how he does it (with V9), I have no idea how he does it, but would love to show em how it should be done...

 

It has a Fanuc 16T control.....
