What I need to do to open SolidWorks 2012 x64 in X5? When I trying to open SolidWorks 2012 x64 file in X5, X5 writes "Cannot find Parasolid data in SolidWorks file"

Basically you cannot. You either need X6 or a Parasolid file from Solidworks

You need X6 to open SW 2012 files.

 

As a work around or until you install X6 you could save the SW files as parasolids and open the file in X5.

assuming you have current maintenance with MC

Ask your customer to create .x_t (parasolid) files they usually read in as well as the

solid works file. if there are multiple solids in his file he will have to create one for each of them.

I'm no expert but try this. File- Open- Single click solidworks file".SLDPRT"- Then click the options box- "Cannot find Parasolid data in Solidworks file" dialog box appears, click OK- A Solidworks File Parameter dialog comes up and check "Import Soldis History"- Then hit the green check. Hope it works for you.
