Shortcut to Mastercam X Editor

Hello to all....Its been more than a year in this "neck of the woods"

Here is my question I need to create a shortcut to my desktop to Master X Editor. I know how to make or create shortcuts. But when in "Browse" I cant find this folder.

Can anyone tell me where the MCX Editor is . I want to access it from my desktop without having to open a Mastercam part file and posting a simple program just to gain access to the editor.

Navigate to the common folder of your install. X5 will be program files (X86)\mcamx5\common\editors\mastercam. Then on a 32 bit system or 64 bit system for X6 it will be program files\mcamx6\common\editors\mastercam\ the program to make a shortcut from is MCXSTART.exe and all should be good.
