One way is to hit Alt-D and change the font style in the menus. Not sure if that's what you mean though.

You can use True Type fonts in Create Letters. ( I almost typed "Create Next-menu Letters"... )

 

If you search hard enough you can find single-stroke fonts for use with engraving.

I guess what I'm saying is, fonts other than the ones availeable in X3.

I don't like the looks of the stick letters when I need to cut them.

You can get a lot of "Other" True Type fonts such as going to Best Buy or similar and buy a Font Disc. True Type fonts available are controlled by Windows not Mastercam. Remember though, that AFIK, all True Type fonts are double-line fonts, not stick. I have Corel Draw that comes with about 2500 additional fonts. Also, be aware that adding a lot of fonts increases boot time as Windows has to register all the fonts at boot up. JM2C
