What post?

First things that come to mind are the rotary axis definition in the machine def, there are limits you could set in there.

Also the same options most likely exist in your post. (The settings in the MD may have zero effect on your code...)

 

Also, do you have mi4 and or mi5....... "initial primary" and "initial secondary". Setting primary or secondary to -90 may do it for you...

K2csq7, Looks like you may be talking about an 5 axis post? I'm currently not using a five axis post so th misc intergers are not factored in at this point. Is it pretty envolved to create an mi4 and mi5 for the initial primary and initial secondary?

Not sure, I would guess yes, about a 3 hr. job for a "post guru"..... only a guess.... is using a stock 5 ax post an option?

What post are you using?

Can you try to limit the rotary to plus and minus 90 degrees? (MD and or post)
