MPmaster for Mori Seiki - DuraVertical 5100???

Hi, Is anyone using MPmaster post with X5 and the DuraVertical 5100 with 4th axis? the controller is a Mapps 4.

Could you get it to run the 4th axis to it's full potential?

I run mine with the Mpmaster post with A axis rotary and it works fine. I also use the same post to do the NV5000 with A axis rotary as well with no problems. What problems are you having may be someone here can help you with that post.

Thanks guys but I'm able to adapt the post myself. Although I was wondering if someone could send me an example of code. and maybe a list of features of the controller that I should be looking out for. (MAPPS IV control) email address below

We have A Dura 5100 with the DDRT 260. I use the MPmaster post.

 

Everything works great, but just wish There was a Misc. Integer to Use 4th lock codes or Not. That rotary has to be commanded to M11 before any A axis moves or it just hangs... Don't always want Lock/Unlock like when your doing full forth work.

 

We Had to slow our rotary down in the machine parameters. Was getting an A Axis Error Alarm during rapid A movement...
