Rotary help

I am trying to post out a 4th axis program I created with mastercam X5. It is a square part I am skimming 4 sides when it posts out I get the first pass has A0 but the other pass just add g55, g56 g57 with A0.

I have a 4th axis post and my Zero is center of the axis. Also when I back plot the tool move around the part. It varifies a good part. Any help would be appreciated.

What post are you using? If you use the MPMaster post you can lock the wcs on the first operation and it will out the g54 at a0. or what ever the angle your using. Then it should post out just the rotary moves a90., a180., a270.

My post was based off the MPMaster post. Do I have to go into the post to lock it or under the plane stetting?

i bet your planes are not set correctly

work coordinate and tool plane need to be at differing planes to produce angle output

You need to keep your first WCS the same, and then change only the TPlane for the additional sides. The post looks at the difference between the WCS and the TPlane to generate the rotary movement.

In your WCS set all of the work offsets that you are using to zero.
