Reverse counter bores?

Anybody use a reverse counterbore that is both practical and reliable?

 

I use the regulat kind on a bridgeport all the time, but I have an application with a complex casting where I want to do it on a 4 axis mill.

Years ago we bought a couple different types of "CNC" reverse c-boring tools, niether of which was worth the box it came shipped in.

 

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

+1 with Vermont for common c'bores. We've made our own similar type tooling for uncommon sizes.
