Okuma MU500. Looks like we are getting one :)

We're lining up for an Okuma MU500. As our shop is all Okuma, it makes sense to get an Okuma 5 axis.

 

So, now we'll have a LB15 lathe, LB400 lathe, MB56VA 4 Axis Vertical, and a Multus B400W, and then a MU500

 

Things are moving along quickly

Lucky you. I remember the days when I ran all Okuma's. They are great machines. The Okuma 5-axis I ran 10 years ago to this day was one of the best machines I have ran. Congrats!

That is good to hear, that you enjoyed working with them so much. It will have a 20k spindle, and I'm looking forward to learning my way around it Thankfully we have Vericut to help us too
