Copy and Paste operations into other files possible?

I want to be able to copy and paste operations/ toolpaths from one file to another. COPY/PASTE doesn't work(in mastercam 9.1(service pack2) at least. Is there a different command for that? Maybe I have to learn how to do mastercamX to be able to do that? Thanks, RT.

This is not possible... even in X7

It is possible in X7 Mastercam for SolidWorks.

The way to bring existing operations into a file is to use the Impor function,

but it has been so long I could not begin to tell you how to do it in V9

Gcode it is peaty much like we do now by right clicking in the ops manager and selecting export and import.

I've got V9 installed on this box, but I hate opening it.

Every time I do, it grenades my nethasp and kills any session of X6 I may have open.

Good luck with the import/export .... Very unstable.. turns coolants off all the time.. Crashes a lot!!!

in V9 i would delete current geo. and import new and reselect and regen/post

Are you talking about V9? as I use it all the time in X6 and X7 with no issues and no crashing.
