I have an altered haas post I am using for a fadal.

I am getting this on the first tool...

G0 G17 G40 G49 G80 G90 H0 E0 Z0

( X 0= CENTER OF SQUARE STOCK )

( Y 0= CENTER AS SHOWN BETWEEN JAWS )

( Z 0= BOTTOM OF STOCK )

( FRONT AND BACK Z LEVEL CONTOUR )

( 1" INDEX INSERT XDGT1550PDFR G04 TOOL - 1 DIA. OFF. - 1 LEN. - 1 DIA - 1.0 )

T1 M6

G0 G90 S5200 M3 E1 X0. Y0.

H1 Z0. M7

Where in the post is this calling this? It is NOT in the the backplot, so I am assuming it is a post issue.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

My first thought is: why would you modify a Haas Post for a Fadal machine, when Mastercam has two Fadal Posts available that are setup to run perfectly for either Format 1 or Format 2?

Are you sure there is no "reference point" active that is at 0,0,0? That is where the first move in your toolpath is going. (Already positioned X and Y at Zero)

That Z value is coming from the NCI file itself, unless you've done some major work to the post...
