Hot Key?

Is there a hot key to reverse the chaining start direction when using solid chaining? I always seem to click the wrong way and wanted to hit the "R" key or something similar like when chaining with geometry.

That doesn't work for me in solid chain mode- only geometry mode.

R does work for reversing solid chains. But I need to click the chaining window first....

After you hit enter for the "other face" option thing... the chaining window is not active (grey at the top of the window), I need to click the window to make it active (blue at the top of the window)...

What version are you using as in X6 no the R key dose not work but in X7 yes the R key works. but in both there is the Aerrow button still.

I'm using X7 SP1, but I realized after reading this, I too have to click into the chaining box and then the R key works.

 

When using a turn (lathe) profile, I noticed that even if the arrow is the wrong way and I click the end of the chain, it automatically makes it the right way.

I'm using X7 SP1, but I realized after reading this, I too have to click into the chaining box and then the R key works.

Funny I did not even relize that I must be hitting the chaining box by default as you folks are correct, if I pick the solid edge and then hit R no go but click on the chaining box and all works well.

 

PS now I have gone back and test this in both X6 and X7 same issue in both. so my earlier statement is in correct.
