5 axis milling - need help

Hi,

Now that I have set my tooling correctly in Robotmaster, I want to proceed to 5 axis milling, might need some help from you guys, this is my 1st try.

Please open attachment for IMPELLER--3 SCALE UP X5.mcx-6.

Will make a video clip and upload this as a tutorial for sharing.

I'm getting this error prompt n the middle of calculating:

make sure the NCI name in the operation does not contain spaces

Something bothers me, if you look at 2:12, the simulation meant for milling Impeller but why did the "Dome" showed up?, The dome was the previous file I was working on, strange..does any have the answer for that?

In SIMULATION SETTINGS you have to make sure you choose "ALL"

That will recognize the current part you have on the Mastercam Screen. Any other option, like "SAME" will use what was last opened in the simulation.

 

In Robotmaster V5 you need to select "ALL ELEMENTS" To use the geometry on the screen. It may serve you well to click on "SELECT" and do a window selection of the part geometry you are programming to, just to make sure you are referencing the correct geo in Robotmaster

 

In Robotmaster V6 you need to Select "ALL" in the simulation Settings "PART" dropdown for the same reason
