Makino program output

I need to output a bunch of programs on our Makino, the problem, if I output as all, it comes out as 1 large program with everything inside/

Is there a parameter setting that anyone is aware of that will let the individual programs output without having to do each one manually?

The 30i series is a little different on the I/O compared to older models.

If saving to a Memory card, you'll need to give it a 8.3 formatted filename

and then try entering the individual O program numbers without the O address, separated by a comma.

You may be limited to only being able to set the low and high O value.

It's been a long time since I've tried just a range of programs.

For RS-232 just skip the file name.

FWIW, the Fanuc help key will access the instructions for I/O.

You can also use something like TextWedge to separate the individual programs from the ALLPROGRAMS file.

I recently did that with a customer who used up the entire control memory.

Thanks for the suggestions

I don't think I'm going to be able to get what I want

The Cimco editor can only handle 1 file at a time and has no "naming" ability like the DNC does

We need to get into some 3D work, then I'll have a MUCH easier time justifying a full blown DNC
