Deburr internal cross hole with Lolipop Mill

I know there was a post on this before but I can't seem to locate it. I need to deburr the inside of two holes that cross each other at 90 degrees. Please see attached picture it's the red geometry. Any help is appreciated. I can share this file if someone thinks that will help.

Mark I'm not sure what you mean by small radius at the intersection. Do you mean with surfaces.

Yes, whether it's a solid or surfaces, create a small radius at the intersection and use is as your drive surface.

Basically it has to be a surfacing toolpath, there is no easy way do do an undercut deburring path using wireframe.

I created the red surface and used a flowline toolpath but it gouges the I.D. bore in verify. Not sure if this is what you meant to do.

Likely your "plunge" and " retract" directions need to be adjusted.

You can see it in backplot and adjust accordingly.

Justin, it looks like you capped the hole instead of putting a radius on the end of the hole..

If you can't get that to work you might want to look into Cogsdill, Flex-Hone, or Heule for deburring your crossholes.

Ok now I think I know what you meant. I put a radius around the edge where the hole breaks through. It's shown in red. Still trying to get the toolpath perfect but I'm close.

if it wont go around in circles, play with the cut direction in the flowline data (under geometry branch that is visible in the ops manager)

Another way to do it:

 

Make a Tplane that's on the axis of your smaller hole, and create a surface finish project path with -.005 (or whatever) stock on the drive surfaces.

 

Backplot that and save the geometry of the toolpath to a new level.

 

Then just use your normal Tplane, and do a 3D contour of the backplotted/saved geometry with comp turned to center instead of tip.

I got it working now using flowline. Thanks for all the help. I really appreciate. When I get some free time I will try the surface finish project method as well.
