stock not selecting properly

Hey guys, this is something minor, or more of just a pain in the xxxx but it seems to be doing it everytime I draw surfaces.

I'll use my latest part as an example. I need a 6x6x1/2 plate with a hole in the middle. Simple enough. I drew the part and when I go to stock set up, I select "all surfaces" but it always adds .0002 to the stock origin in all axis. Is there something up with my tolerances in cad or something? See screenshot.

By the way this happens on every file I draw with surfaces. X7 SP2

Look in 'create' - 'bounding box'......see if there is added stock there under expand?

If it matters at all, when I import other models, it does not do it. Seems to be something on my side in my settings perhaps?

Finding mine does the same thing. Odd.... Never noticed it before, but I am getting the exact same result.

If you select corners, it does not add the .0002 either.

Maybe it's an X7 as of yet unannounced feature: grinding stock.

I noticed this also happens when creating a bounding box, is there a setting somewhere i need to change?

In case anyone else was wondering

 

That one is on us... We fixed a bigger issue for X7 where it was off by a mile (1.609344 kilometers) in some surface cases. In the process we made larger by .0001 (in both inch and metric) in every case.

 

The good news is that you should see this addressed in X7 MU1 Beta 2
