Del,

to fix this you need 2 things.

your new maintenance codes or emergency codes from your dealer

and physical access to the hasp in the server room.

If you have the codes go pull the hasp and plug it into your computer

Launch nethasp.exe

C:\Program Files\mcamx7\NHaspX.exe

and use it to install the new codes

Then plug the hasp back into the server and you're back in business.

Make sure you plug it back into the same USB port in the server!!!

It sounds like you renewed maintenance and your IT dept installed the new temp codes

good for 30 days. You don't get permanent codes till the bill is paid.

If you can find your old codes and install them, X7 SP2 should run.. but you won't be able

to run MU1.

The other option is call your dealer and ask for some emergency codes to get you through the end of the year.

And don't ever try rolling back the system clock thinking you're going to outsmart the hasp. You will end up calling your dealer after discovering the hasp will not work at all, and they will laugh at you after you tell them what you did. Then they will send you new update codes to use after you fix the clock.

I had this happen once myself, by moving a hasp to a computer with a system clock that was

2 years behind.

I had no idea what happened at the time ( early X days)

The hasp just quit working and my employer had to get a new one.

This was an old white parallel hasp
