5axis training

I need to get a book or online training to get more up to speed with our haas trunnion. I have been doing a decent job with 3+2 but need

some crash coarse full 5axis stuff. I have had some help from reseller in the past but I get pulled away so much I need something I can referance back to. Is the books from this site the best or go with an eaprentice course like the one Jay has on there.

Have you spoken with your reseller about the possibility of doing custom on-site?

 

Sometimes working through a simple project that hits on multiaxis programming basics then take it out to the machine to see it actually run will help.

No, but I've priced it in the past. I'm about 2.5hrs north for them and I now own the shop so I get constant interruptions so it never really works that well. I know I'm paying them for there time but to have to keep getting up and leaving for 5-min is a waste of there time.

Gary, I offer training and do it with a customers part. I take a part you need to run and program it as part of my service. I do the complete programming package with my experience to give you something that will run and then you can see what my thoughts are. Not that I am the end all, but do have a good bit of experience and it has served my customers well. Feel free to shoot me an email and I will be glad to review a part of couple parts and give you an idea what it might cost you.
