Okuma OSP-200 TC Connection

Recommended Posts

Yes it is a OSP-P200

The manual mentions noting about this only how to set up the TC connection

Using the DIR DISPLAY, I can select TC and that is only the first TC connection in the list, no option to choose another defined TC connection.

Not sure about the DNC-DT, I simply transfer using TC to the memory and run from there; I can load a 2Gb file so I have yet to need DNC.

It would be nice to connect to my other TC connections to get the file from a different programming computer, I realize that I can use a central location and store the files there, but If I can set up multiple TC connections.... I guess they expect you to use this schedule business.

Fanuc lets me set up several FTP sites and connect to them at will by simply changing hosts.

You could always go the other way and share the MD1 directory on the machine, Have you programmers map a drive to this shared folder and then have you programmers directly dump the programs into the MD1 directory. I know it is possible if you run a schedule file and I am sure there is a solution with program call, but I do not have a machine or a manual to test it on
