Just a thought if the wall is vertical can you create geomertry and use it to do a contour toolpath? When i have vertical walls in my modal i normally delete them. If there is a surface on top of the vertical the toll will drop down vertical anyway.MC slows down caculating vertical walls in 3d toolpaths i believe.

Been burned on that one before dave smile.gif

Depending on toolpath, if i delete wall on surface model instead of picking or using as check surf., inevitably it'll see a surface(or should i say , i will somehow pick it) behind the space and go for it.

But ,hey , that's just me maybe you have better luck with it ! biggrin.gif

Try setting it to roll over all edges in the advanced tab on the Finish contour parameters page. This is how I set it on all my finish contours to get uninterupted revolutions around the part (floor or no floor).

I dont agree with that. I rarely work without verticle surface walls on my parts, even if I know I can get away with it. I like to see on screen exactly what I'll be getting off the machine.
