Progressive Operations

Our post was written for us a couple of years ago. It works well for using subs. BUT, I can't do progressive operations. All the wcs's seem to be linked together. Can someone point me in the right direction on where to look. Or I could even put it on the FTP site if ya'll wanted to look at it.

What do you mean by "progressive ops"?

I work on stuff bigger than the travel of my machine. I need to be able to move the part down and start with a diffrent offset.

i go to the T/C page and put n a diffrent offset number but the post seem to get the first on stuck in the buffer or something.

Do you mean you are doing multi parts and need the ability to use multi workoffsets. If so go to the toolpane page and put a number in the grey out check box area. Dependign on your post it will be 1=54, 2=55, 3= 56 and so or in our case (modified post) 1=1, 2=2, 3=3 for the fadals. If not give us a better idea and we will tackle it head on.

I would suggest testing if the tlplane origin changes and putting in a home move then M00.

 

If you will send me a file your working with I'll take a look and maybe apply a little corn juice and send an examaple back.

Do you have the force_wcs on or off in the post.

most of the time it is just 1 big part with at least 2 repositions. Tryed to change the numbers to 2,3,4 but the post seems to ignore it. How do check to see if the forced_wcs is on or off. Jimmy I am e-mailing you the post.
