Heidenhain Plane Spatial Datum Shift

I'm in a bit of a quandary with some code that my post processor has output from the NCI.

 

Basically it's regarding the 'Plane Spatial' function on the Heidenhain 530i control.

 

I understand the concept of the function, but what I am not getting is the following Datum Shift command that is wrapped around it:

At the moment I am not understanding the logic for this.

Looks like you need to set your origin in your Toolplane and Comp/construction planes to zeroes in your operation.

Without a file or something to reference your base position to your shifted position I am throwing darts at a dart board in the dark blind folded.
