Mori Seiki NL 3000 Alarm

Hi,

I get an alarm on our NL 3000 lathe. Alarm is: P70   Arc end point deviation large. 

This alarm happens when I do face pocketing or surfacing.  I get this alarm when I program with Mastercam. I get I,J output with my Mastercam post, with another program I get R and I have never had an alarm. I did ask Mori application guys and they said I and J should work fine.

Is anyone having the same issue?

Yes. For some reason the NL's have random issues with IJK's for NO reason. I always run R's. Sucks but it works.

Thank you Josh for responding. The Mori application guy changed the arc tolerance from .0004 to .001

So far I ran few programs with no problem using IJK. I will run a surfacing program to see if works.

I remember having this issue on the first NL I programmed. I plotted everything out and there was no reason for the alarm. Just a silly control. Would be nice if that fixed it.

yes josh. He changed the machine parameter. I still need to do more testing to make  sure its working right.

parameter number 1084 RadErr  was .0004 I changed it to .001
