Folder keeps reappearing when opening Mastercam

I had a folder on my desktop, that had customer files in it.  Now that I know longer need these files I deleted the contents, and the folder.

 

The folder reappears EVERY TIME I start Mastercam.  I tried shredding it, deleting it (several times now), renaming it and deleting, moving it.

 

Anyone have input on how to get rid of it.  It's related to Mastercam some how.

New information, I opened my project file manager in Mastercam, It has this folder as the project file.  Now how did that happen??  And how do I change it.

 

I don't even use the project manager!!

Look in your configuration settings under files somewhere in there that folder was the last folder something was in and if it is not there Mastercam will create the folder. No warning no error it will just create the folder.

This drove me nuts!

 

I found the problem in configuration, under files, Mastercam current version parts. Make sure it points to a folder that is already there, otherwise it will create one.

Steadyfred, thanks!, that did the trick.  Still don't know how this happened.  Never have used the project manager.
