Cimco HSM

[PE @ IHS]

Insomnia brought on by too much coffee and sick kids has caused be to spend a few hours playing with CIMCO HSM. I am very impressed by the quality of the toolpath and the processing time. This truly is a must for anyone doing heavy duty 3D work. A help menu would be a nice addition down the road, but the vast majority of the dialog boxes are easily understood.

I can't wait till check surfaces are added. Other than that it's a great product.

I agree, I plan on pushing the owner to get it when check surfaces and the WCS is fixed.

I have not heard of any problems with the WCS in the current release version of the HSM Performance Pack.

I do not have the current release of the HSM. The last one I had the HSM.DLL is dated 9-20-03 I could not get it to keep the WCS that I was currently using when I made a new toolpath. I should not have said 'when it is fixed' without knowing if it works or not. I do plan on pushing to get it soon. I am just waiting on the right time.
