WCS problems

Does anyone else run in to  the wcs changing randomly when doing a path change ? Even tho C/T are set correctly? I also run into the plane manager not letting me change the offset? I can change it exit plane manager go right back into it and it reverted back to what i just changed. I'm using MCX8 and yes I have done all of the updates. Any insight would be helpfull.

I had it happen once. I opened a saved file and the origins were all wrong. I am 100% sure , as I had a fully machined mold half  to prove on the machine table. 

However , it has not happened again , therefore it went unreported. (Hotfix 4 )

Today I opened an X6 file in X8 and tried to change the offsets in the plane manager.  The part had toolpaths using front, left, right, and back  and also planes that were copies of front, left, right, and back.  The offset failed to change in  the toolpaths that were using the front, left, right, and back.  Toolpaths using the copied planes were fine.  I just changed them all to use the copied planes and it worked fine.

Ben, even thow they do not show rex on the paths regen them all. this will rest the offsets based on the WCS.

I tried regenerating them and it still didn't fix it.

if you were using the default planes in WCS and giving them offsets in X7 and X6 then that is why you are seeing this as the default planes in X8 cannot modified but you can at least change the offset but I am sure that is what is conflicting them. I bet once you set them again in X8 they will stick.
