No Dove Mills in X8

how do I get dove mills in x8?  there is a filter button for them but Shows zero tools.   I am using the the big inch library.  Thanks

Did you have dovetail mills saved in a previous version library?

If they were in a tool database you can update them and then use them in McamX8.

 

Or you could just use the create new tool function, define the dovetail cutter then save it off to your custom library.

I never had anything saved. we do not use them very often. Maybe  I just created it the way you said.    thanks.

No dove cutters in the Big Inch default library in McamX8.

There are dove cutters in Big Inch tools-6 library

However if you try bringing them into a tool database they need to be redefined, because there is an issue with how they were imported.
