x9 transform

HI all

 

x9 transform posting is so slow, when using nci. it takes for ever, every time it happen need to shut mastercam and restart again, and even that don't solve the problem, need to use geometry in the transform to get it,

 

does any one have this problem. or is there a work around it.?

Not seeing that on my side. so I do not have a an answer sorry. have used transform in X9 on min of two of my computers does not seem ant different then the past.

I haven't had any issue with it. But multi axis linking is another story.

Usually it's slower when using geometry and faster when using NCI. Also keep in mind to double check your backplot, some tool paths when transformed can change dramatically, particularly high speed toolpaths.

 

Transform/translate is one of those functions that just requires screwing around to get things the way you want. It doesn't do the same thing everytime.
