Mastercam Crash Report

Next time the Crash report pops up, try this....nothing.....don't X out or press ok just save your file and carry on...just did a 3 hr session with the Crash Report up in the background...

Finally I decided to save my file and click ok and see what happens...yep it goes ahead and crashes....

Next time It happens I am going to go to task manager and kill the report and see what happens...it will probably go ahead and go into recovery but for those who don't know you can still save your file when you get the Report....

I have also saved my file when I get the Mastercam has stopped working message...you still have a few seconds to save your file then before it goes into recovery...

just FYI...

Any suggestion on a file that I saved, but now every time I try to open it MC crashes? I have a techy person here trying to save 5 days of work.

open a blank file

go to System Config/Files

uncheck "restore NCI of file open"

close System Config and try to open the file

No luck with that. I closed the part to check on a part going into production and when I tried to reopen it the darn thing crashes immediately.
