Transfering v8.0 Tools to x8 + 2 questions :)

  Good morning,

I was wondering if its possible to transfer my tool libraries from v8.0 to x8 :). Big jump!.. I know, but is it possible to use "run user application" or "migration wizard"  to install my tool libraries onto x8. If not I understand, but I thought it would be worth a try. Also we use to use the Alt+C "squash" function in v8.0, which is quite the necessity for us; how would I find this function in x8. I've searched a little but I'm just not seeing it and we use to have to input the z-shift (material size) at the end of each post to inform our machines to not drill through our table. Any help is appreciated.

  Many Thanks,

Brandon

P.S. v8.0 and x8 are on two separate computers in the same office.

yes im serious about v8 :). We have 2 thermwood c40 91000 supercontrol 3axis 4-tool holders, we are using 9 tools, that have to be programmed from 1 to 4 in order for the machine to know where to go, or at least that's how it was on v8. Would anyone happen to know about the ALT+C squash to flatten objects or where to input my z-shift in x8? stock setup maybe?
