Rotary table

We just did this with our Haas rotary...it was fun and it worked out great. The light gray is the part we made, and the rest is the table we made for the job. I can already see that nice table being used for more fun stuff. Thought someone might like to use this same idea. I would like to also make a "tombstone" of sorts and put some light vices on it.

my Haas rotary has the A2-6 lathe interface. I like centering on taper function but it is a bit of work making adapters.

theoretically i could swap fixture between mill and lathe that also has A2-6.

 

 

this should probably be moved to the machining area forum.
