Alt-E does not always work

Hello

using X7

sometimes when I use the Alt -E to hide  everything but a solid. it will not work.  the solid stays on the screen.

I try using the pull down menu. it works, but then I cannot select any geometry left on the screen.

It is not constant. the command works most of the time.

anybody else run into this ?

thanks Gord

Yes when you have the solid selected in the solids manager it will stay on the screen. Make sure it is not selected in the solid manager or turn off the auto highlight when solid is picked in the solid manager. Right click in the solids manager and there is the Auto Highlight. Uncheck that and you should be good. It has since been addressed.

Also has to do with not using a Quardo FX Card as well. A Gaming card, ATI or on board card could also do this.
