The problem I am having is when I try to do circleular interpolation on an X&Z move or on Y&Z move. I know this has to do with the I,J & K axis. The machine being used is an Brigdeport Interact 412 with a Heidenhain 351 controller. I think the problem lies in the post.I used this same machine with Feature Cam and had no problem being able to do this same type of move.As it is now,the code being generated,is a slew of very very small moves creating the HERKY JERKY moves.Any help from anybody would be very helpful. Thanks in advance. It can be a lot of little and big things that can cause filtering not to work .

First of all I don`t want to argue about the same code on Feature cam.Put on FTP file for us to check it and help U.

It can be parameter settings and post settings too ,like this things

quote:

# --------------------------------------------------------------------------

# General Output Settings

# --------------------------------------------------------------------------

breakarcs : 2 #Break arcs, 0 = no, 1 = quadrants, 2 = 180deg. max arcs

arcoutput : 1 #0 = IJK, 1 = R no sign, 2 = R signed neg. over 180

arctype : 2 #Arc center 1=abs, 2=St-Ctr, 3=Ctr-St, 4=unsigned inc.

do_full_arc : 0 #Allow full circle output? 0=no, 1=yes

helix_arc : 2 #Support helix arc output, 0=no, 1=all planes, 2=XY plane only

arccheck : 3 #Check for small arcs, convert to linear

atol : .01 #Angularity tolerance for arccheck = 2

ltol : .002 #Length tolerance for arccheck = 1

ltol_m : .05 #Length tolerance for arccheck = 1, metric

Other things can influence too.

So put your file on the ftp and someone can help you

I talked with my friend Eeyore yesterday .

He told me that he want to stop lurking and to participate here .

"I think that even a humble donkey can contribute .Brains first and then Hard Work." -were his words .

your accent sounds familiar.

No wonder ,we are from the same place -Wolery is near the Pooh Corner.
