Control def text settings won't stick

Recommended Posts

Sometimes when you take an existing machine/control def, the control may be named but it hasn't populated the text into the post properly....

Open the Machine def>>> go into the control def.....go to the misc ints and set an unused one to 1....then green check and saved all the way out...

Now, open your post, scroll to the bottom of it, you should now find your control def listed, most likely with only the value you set.....

If there is another def listed and it's settings match what you need, just copy and paste it under the new heading....saved the post...

Now reload the machine def and the control def should now load properly

That was the ticket. Thanks for the info, sometimes I read the literature, but don't understand what it is saying. Your explanation cleared up one of those disconnects.
